-How to play? Mouse only.

-What do? Read books. Click around on things that catch your eyes.

-When end? Managed to have a few end points: you should reach one fairly quickly, keep playing four patient explorers.

-Why was this game made and why is it for two jamsConstraints foster creativity. So after asking for permission from both organisers to participate this way, I combined and the themes of "Narrative" (#GDKO2024) and "Aberration"(#AcerolaJam0).

In essence I tried to tell a story with no language, and make it abnormal. So the player can choose how their story goes (and can maybe explore more than one of these).

Thanks for playing!

Possible Bugs/Spoilers:

In my laptop, it crashed sometimes when consuming a cat, and when pressing a gear. Sorry if this happens to you as well, please do let me know.

EDIT 14/03/2024 bug/spoilers

  1. there seems to be one bug consuming blue cats and refilling the well more than once per run. I guess the issue arises if you hover over the whole again.
  2. by extension, if you do manage to hear the song, it might get stuck if you move your mouse to refill again. Try pressing space/enter to end your waiting time.
  3. another bug for a secret ending... probably coded it badly, and is weird to activate. Feel free to reach out for hints if you want to try again (look at the bottom of this post)

You have a set of actions you can complete. Points in dice go up (“no language” was part of the constraints, so not even Arabic numerals used hehe). Then, depending where you invested your points, you might get one of many endings.
