Boaring Fractions

Submission to the GALA 2022 Serious Game Competition

(the game is not completed, rather it attempts to show which fraction concepts it could foster. Feel free to watch the demo to get an idea of the aims,or the gameplay)

This game is directed towards early fraction learners. You control a Boar, that is inhaling gas from the earth. After enough gas has been collected, it can be turned to a big bubble, that is used to segment a number line into fraction benchmarks.
The learning goals are fraction magnitude estimation, equivalent fractions and fraction addition (subtraction is also planned, yet cannot be accessed in this version, since unfortunately there still exist some bugs and many aspects of the game could not be completed.)

Use arrow keys or WASD to move, SPACE to interact. Also X, when in the bubble. After popping the bubble, press space to the corresponding fraction. This would be tied to the player placing the legs of the sleeping frog, and then its tongue on the fruit, leading them to win the level.
